Three Kenyan Groups graduated from their Pangea Educational Program last week!
After six months of training, three of our Kenyan Women’s groups have graduated from The Pangea Network’s Education Program; the Kenya team worked hard with these Western Kenya women’s groups.
Our Graduating Groups Include:
Kinda Women’s Group
The Kinda Women’s Group is a newer cooperative working with Pangea. Many of the women in this group farm and following graduation they hope to increase their production and sales.
Mother’s Union
Mother’s Union came together through their church. The women especially enjoyed the personal development trainings, where they learned the importance of taking time for yourself and creating a more balanced life.
Advocates
The Kenya Advocate ceremony was the first graduation of this group! All of these women are high school age and attending polytechnic school. These girls were connected with our Houston-based YWLC group as they began their conference this past summer.
