I am Rebecca Ateta Atemba. I am 52 years of age married with five children (three boys &two girls from Ebusakami Location Enyuita Sub-location, Ekokwa Village in Vihiga County. I am also the Chair-lady of Omboki Women Cooperative and my business is selling small fish (omena).
What are you most proud of?
I am proud of how my life and business have improved. Being in a group such as Omboki Women Cooperative enabled me to be linked up with an organization such as the Pangea Network. Through the Pangea Network, I have gained a lot in terms of trainings for life and business improvement. I can now stand on my own
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned with The Pangea Network?
I have learned very many things with the Pangea Network. I have learned on how to run my business, how to borrow and save money and do the refunding as required, how to manage the group, as I am its head, and address people without any fear, as well as hygiene. I am happy to be part of the Pangea Network. Thank you Pangea!
