Tell us about yourself
I am a 35 year old widow and mother of three children. I am a businesswoman in Kibera, Nairobi and deal in selling of shoes. I started this business in 2015. This business is my full time job.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud of the fact that my life has changed for the better financially and I can now handle my own money. I am also proud of the fact that I can offer my children decent education so that they can have a bright future.
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned with The Pangea Network?
The topic on Book Keeping enabled me to keep my records well and account for my stock and money at any given time. In addition, the topic on Basic Nutrition enabled me to plan balanced meals for my family. My appetite also increased, especially in eating indigenous vegetables, which in turn enabled me to have increased weight and blood.
