The Kenyan Student Sponsorship Program creates pathways to education and opportunity for talented students facing financial barriers. By providing scholarships alongside mentorship, leadership development, life skills education, and holistic support, the program empowers students to complete their education, pursue meaningful careers, and become leaders who strengthen their families and communities.
Education is about more than access to school—it is about preparing young people for life. Throughout their academic journey, students participate in leadership retreats that build confidence, resilience, community, and essential life skills while providing a supportive network of peers and mentors. Together with ongoing guidance and encouragement, these experiences help students develop the knowledge, character, and leadership needed to achieve their goals and create lasting impact.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
One of the unique strengths of The Pangea Network’s Student Sponsorship Program is that our investment extends far beyond school fees. Throughout their education, students participate in leadership retreats, life skills workshops, mentorship, and community-building experiences that prepare them not only for graduation, but for life.
Every high school graduate completes a three-month college preparation program through our partner, Daystar University. The program equips students with the academic, personal, and practical skills needed to successfully transition from secondary school to higher education, helping them navigate one of the most important milestones of their educational journey.
Together, these experiences build confidence, resilience, leadership, and a strong network of support – preparing students to pursue meaningful careers and become leaders who strengthen their families and communities.
Meet Nimrod
Nimrod dreamed of becoming a doctor, but after completing his first year of secondary school, financial hardship threatened to end his education. When the supporter who had helped pay his school fees could no longer continue, Nimrod faced the possibility of leaving school and putting his dream on hold.
In 2024, The Pangea Network welcomed Nimrod into the Student Sponsorship Program, giving him the opportunity to continue his education and pursue the future he had worked so hard to achieve.
Today, Nimrod is maintaining strong academic performance and preparing for Kenya’s national secondary school examinations. With the support of scholarships, mentorship, and a caring community, he remains focused on his goal of studying Medicine and Surgery at the university level.
